Paying for ASU Education

2013-2014 Estimate of Costs (in US Dollars)

The ASU-estimated cost of attendance is an average figure. It includes average amounts for standard expenses, such as tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, board, and other living expenses. This estimate is for nine months of study.

Keep in mind that your actual costs may differ. Additionally, estimated budgets for students in some majors may be higher because of special laboratory or studio supply fees, or other additional costs incurred by all students in the program. Tuition is the same for in-state and out-of-state residents.

Undergraduate Estimate of Costs

Based on the 2012-2013 academic year, the following are estimated two-semester costs for a full-time undergraduate (taking 12-15 units each semester) living in university housing or living in non-university owned housing:

  Room and Board
  * Books and personal supplies extra
Total (add $50 application fee for the first semester / non-refundable)
