ACTIVITIES Student activities are offered on a regular basis. Since the school is small at this time the number of activities are not as numerous as some schools, but we do offer students many options from which to choose. First, students are invited to participate in all school sporting events at no cost. The University believes that supporting our community, our teams and athletes is an important priority for the students and faculty. Past events at ASU include Boxing, Wrestling, Exhibitions, Martial Arts Events, Football Combines, Fundraisers, Summer Camps, Fitness Challenges, Runs, the Route 66 Rendezvous, Facility Grand Openings, Guest Speakers, Honorary Degree Ceremonies; and many other special events.

Students have access to all events held at the Fox Theater except those which are private parties or events. Those that students do have access to may be free or full price depending on who the host of the event is. Students also have access to the Student Activity Center, Computer Lab, Student Government, Study Hall, Dorm Activity Center, Food Court, Gym, Fitness Center, and Dorm Common areas within which they can choose to congregate and/or have events.

Each Friday the Dorm Staff host an informal cook-out is at the Dormitory Common area first floor for those wishing to enjoy a nice barbeque to finish off the week. Students are encouraged to plan events on their own such as trips to the Getty Museum, Hollywood, Catalina Island, San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, Universal Studios, Disney Land, Knottsberry Farm, Professional Sporting Events, Area National Parks, Skiing, Scuba Diving, camping trips, trips to the beach, local restaurants etc. Needless to say, students must take the initiative in many of these areas by getting word out to other students and forming a core group who can work with University Administrators the plan and implement the ideas. There is an abundance of things to do in Southern California, many of which are inexpensive or of minimal cost.
