American Sports University received its approval to operate in the state of California by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE) on February 17, 2005. Although brand new, the programs of study offered by American Sports University open doors for its students to one of the largest industries in the world.

Registration for Spring 2009 semester will be held on January 23, 2009 at the ASU Fox Theatre. The registration hours are between the hours of 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
